Chico Levy

Director of Operations

Chico Levy has been a resident of Saint-Lazare since 1980.

He spent his childhood years in Montreal and graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1978 with a degree in business administration.

While in university from 1974 to 1978, Mr. Levy was the President for the Center of Business Corporations of London, Ontario and an active coach in the Boys and Girls Club of London Ontario.

From 1980 to 1998, Chico was the President of a computer manufacturing company with retail stores. Chico Levy was a pioneer in the field of computer science technology and was responsible for setting up Montreal's largest computer and server manufacturing facility in the early 1980’s that helped to spur the development of the city’s information technology surge. For over 18 years, his companies have supplied the Federal and Provincial governments with secure computer technologies including software and hardware solutions. Through his work at Exel-Tech, he currently provides consultant services for businesses that are referred to him, regarding their server and web solution security requirements.

Since the age of 9, Chico has had a passion for horses and actively competes in numerous equestrian events at the International level. He has and is actively involved in the training of horses as well. As a member of various horse associations, he has developed his riding and training talents. His love of the environment and wildlife has guided him into the municipal political stream. Chico believes that the residents of his community are entitled to a free and transparent municipal government that is guided by the citizens needs. He has worked as a Town Councillor for the benefit of his community.

Chico is an open and easily approachable person and is always willing to listen and share ideas with people. As an entrepreneur he is a fun and dynamic person who always gives his honest opinion to help others.
